Our lodge accommodates small groups with eight private rooms, each furnished with a full-size bed suitable for individuals or couples. To maintain a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, we host a maximum of twelve guests at a time. The property sits in Colombia’s Putumayo region, where the eastern slopes of the Andes descend into the Amazon Basin. This meeting of mountains and rainforest creates a remarkable range of ecosystems—from cloud forests to lowland jungle—supporting thousands of plant species, hundreds of birds, and an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. The region is also shaped by strong cultural traditions and indigenous heritage, where music, shared meals, and community gatherings remain central to daily rhythms. Surrounded by this landscape, the lodge offers guests a quiet and immersive setting that feels deeply connected to the natural environment.

The Property

Finca Tigre is a 50 hectare farm situated in the jungle on the mountainside in Mocoa’s Zarsal community. The remote location offers stunning views and direct access to Cascada Hornoyaco and Canalendres Recreation Area. Characterized by its strong community spirit that exemplifies rural Colombian life, Zarsal is a hotspot for hiking, swimming, mountain biking and birdwatching for both locals and visitors.

Jungle Adventures

  • Cascada Hornoyaco

    A hidden gem of Mocoa—step straight into the jungle for a guided hike to Cascada Hornoyaco, with scenic stops at both the top and bottom of the falls.

  • Canalendres Recreation Area

    Ride horseback through the jungle to the Canalendres trail entrance followed by a short hike to clear rivers and natural pools. Relax, swim and enjoy the Amazon.

  • Secret Waterfalls

    Discover the 'Secret Waterfalls' accessible only through our Lodge. Start on horseback, then hike 30 minutes through the jungle to our hidden refuge.

  • Fin del Mundo

    Trek through the jungle, crossing streams, spotting wildlife, and passing hidden cascades. The trail ends at a stunning drop with panoramic views and natural pools for a refreshing swim.

    Learn about local butterfly species, explore the jungle canopy from a hanging bridge, and enjoy stunning views of the Putumayo forest.
